The Illinois Technology Association (ITA) recently launched an innovative new program to its members called OpenDoors that provides personal advisory sessions for start-up and second-stage companies. Owners of fledgling businesses receive a one-on-one consulting session at no cost with an industry expert who volunteers his or her time and acumen to discuss a specific issue. Each session lasts 45 minutes and is pre-scheduled through the ITA.
Obtiva’s own Kat Nelson-Reid is one of two local experts selected to lead the September OpenDoors consulting sessions. Kat has tremendous insight and experience she’s gleaned during her career. She’ll be meeting face to face with entrepreneurial business owners to provide strategic guidance, expert advice and tactical recommendations.
This is a great service provided by ITA that matches up entrepreneurs with more seasoned professionals to make a positive difference in the burgeoning Illinois technology industry. If you’re interested in learning more or would like to schedule an OpenDoor consulting session through the ITA, you can do so here.
