Andy Maleh to Speak at MountainWest RubyConf

Feb 09, 2011

Obtiva Senior Consultant Andy Maleh has been selected to speak at the MountainWest RubyConf in Salt Lake City March 17-18.

Andy’s going to lead a session titled, “What Happened to Desktop Development in Ruby?” He’ll walk attendees through some Ruby desktop development frameworks and libraries, contrast the pros and cons of each, and explore what’s missing that might discourage developers from relying on Ruby to build desktop applications.

We’re jazzed about this because we're working to introduce ourselves to the Ruby scene out West and strengthen our ties with the community there. And we know all the Ruby scenesters will be there – MWRC is a pretty big deal and a well-attended event. You can follow MRWC on Twitter to keep up on the latest news.

Obtiva is also hosting a daylong training course March 16, the day prior to the conference.
