Obtiva is gearing up for Mile High Agile 2011: Elevating Agility - a one-day conference April 7, 2011 hosted by the Agile Denver group.
This is the first-ever Mile High Agile event and we're excited to be a part of it. We are a Platinum-level sponsor, and we're also partnering with conference organizers to help advise on content and structure, since this is their inaugural conference. This is a significant event for us as we connect with like-minded Agile developers and Rubyists in the Denver and Boulder community.
Several Obtivians have submitted speaking proposals in hopes of being selected to present. In fact, the Call for Speakers is open through Feb. 15, so if you or folks you know are interested, please consider submitting a proposal.
Mile High Agile runs from 8 a.m. through 9 p.m. at the Denver Merchandise Mart and promises to be packed with quality learning. There are five conference tracks:
1. Adopting and transitioning to agile
2. Technical practices and tools
3. Agile product and project practices
4. Executive and enterprise agility
5. Open space: dynamic attendee-driven sessions that spontaneously come to life during the conference
We'll update you on Mile High Agile progress as April draws closer and speakers are selected. Discounted "early bird" tickets are on sale now for just $99 and will go up in price in March, so if you want to attend, now's the time to register.
