Chris Powers Speaks at "Ruby on Ales" in Oregon

Mar 22, 2011

Chris Powers of Obtiva has been invited to speak at what has to be one of the most awesome Ruby conferences ever.

Ruby on Ales is a Ruby conference in Bend, Oregon March 25-26, 2011, that blends two days of serious developer learning with not-so-serious microbrew tastings and skiing/snowboarding after the event concludes.

Chris will lead a presentation (well before any microbrews, mind you) on Javascript and TDD. He will show the audience how to get up and running with an Agile TDD workflow using Jasmine as an easy-to-use Javascript TDD framework.

Chris has a great aptitude for public speaking and has led Obtiva training courses as well as presentations at various developer meetups and events. Congratulations to Chris for being selected to speak at Ruby on Ales and for "wowing our community with your inspired learning."

Ruby, snowboarding and beer ...  ... these are a few of our favorite things ...

Registration is now open for those who can travel to Oregon at the end of March for what promises to be a one-of-a-kind Ruby gathering.
