When he's not designing stellar software for clients, Obtivian JC Grubbs is hard at work organizing ChicagoWebConf, a one-day conference Saturday, September 3.
If you're into web technologies like HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript, ChicagoWebConf is the place to be.
The Grubbsian already has some outstanding speakers lined up: The awesomely talented Ryan Singer of 37 Signals; web designer extraordinaire Shay Howe; John Pliske, development lead on the Performance Engineering team at Groupon; and Obtiva's Chris Powers, who's as great a public speaker as he is a software developer.
The morning will include a hands-on workshop, while the afternoon includes a design review panel where the pros will assess your handiwork. And, the sponsors of ChicagoWebConf are two of the greatest technology companies in the world: Microsoft and Obtiva.
JC is putting this event together with his colleagues at DevMynd Software (which he co-founded).
JC says: Follow ChicagoWebConf on Twitter and plan to be there September 3!
