TechWeek Trainer Spotlight #1: Jon Buda

Jul 18, 2011

It's time you got to know Jon Buda who leads the TechWeek training workshop on MOBILE UX DESIGN.

Jon's a Chicago web designer and Ruby developer at One Design Company. He thinks that less is more, that quality beats quantity, and that simplicity begets usability. In his work, he follows a very strict and complex process:  simplify, simplify, simplify.

He's got an awesome blog, and his portfolio of work shows some of the beautiful creations he's put together for entites like the Ox-Bow School of the Arts, Tessoro Jewelry, mTraks.com, Volume Gallery and River Architects. He also keeps up a good banter on Twitter.

At his TechWeek traiing session Saturday morning, Jon will teach you about the technical side to UX design for mobile devices. He'll help you develop a sense for responsive design and consider the various viewport sizes, resolutions and how to optimally present content for different contexts and device sizes. Sign up for Jon's class on Mobile UX Design here on the TechWeek website. The purchase of your TechWeek Conference & Expo pass includes this training session at no additional cost.
