Code Retreat

Make the most of your Chicago TechWeek experience by signing up to attend a CODE RETREAT. Partnering with Corey on this Code Retreat will be internationally recognized software developer Michael Feathers and Obtiva principal consultant Tyler Jennings.

The number of attendees is limited and it will fill up, so register now! Corey's day-long code retreats follow an established, time-tested format (he's held 20 so far). There are five or six 45-minute coding sessions, each one building on previous sessions and each one pairing you with someone different. The morning sessions focus on becoming comfortable with the problem domain, breaking old habits and beginning focused self-discovery. The afternoon pushes you further, challenging you to stretch your skills and understanding of abstractions, modular design and TDD. The day will be moderated and led by Corey, Michael and Tyler - representing an incredible brain trust.
