Obtiva unveils new brand identity.
New brand connects with customers and company’s commitment to innovation in web application development.
CHICAGO, Il., May 17, 2008 -- Obtiva Corporation today unveiled a transformation of its corporate identity. The new brand represents a significant milestone in the company’s evolution and further signifies Obtiva’s commitment to leadership in the use of new technologies to develop innovative web applications.
"We have transformed Obtiva into an organization focused on mastering the best new technologies to enable our customer’s to deliver higher quality software faster than ever before," said Kevin P. Taylor, Obtiva founder and president. "Our new brand reflects who we are, and our commitment to focus on best of breed web application development. We have expanded into new markets, created new service offerings, and acquired new capabilities that make it easier, faster, and less costly for our customers to deliver great software."
The new Obtiva logo is now a lowercase treatment of the Obtiva name in a subtle blue preceded by two forward slashes in vibrant green. The forward slash is representative of the character used in programming languages for web applications and also enables web browsers to resolve web addresses or Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) as in http://obtiva.com. The new tagline: “Agility Applied. Software Delivered.” represents the agile approach Obtiva uses to help their customers continually deliver value to the marketplace; “delivery” being a key term. Customers look to Obtiva for development, project management, coaching, and training to prevent the too-often scenario of software projects that fail to be completed on time, work as designed, or launch at all.
“Today, we're strengthening all our attributes and giving our brand a contemporary look that is more relevant for our business - a bit less formal, a lot more lively with a clear message about the importance of results-driven innovation,” said Katherine (Kat) Nelson-Reid, Obtiva operations manager. We believe the new brand will establish a stronger connection with our audiences and strengthen our position in the marketplace.” Obtiva is in the process of applying the brand to all sales and marketing efforts including web, print collateral, advertising, and direct campaigns.
