...pair programming and TDD have transformed the way my group operates. With your excellent introduction to Ruby/Rails, the productivity of my team has significantly increased. I’ve passed along glowing greports to my managers about the impact of the class. It seriously couldn’t have come at a better time.
Get ahead of the project management revolution!
2 days, just 12 students and the knowledge to take your skills a new level.
The world of product development is becoming more dynamic and uncertain. Traditional rigid, linear development methodologies have been proven to be ineffective for reliably delivering high-quality software systems. This course teaches both managers and software developers how to deliver the features their customers really want—and on-time! Using Agile practices allows organizations to deliver working products quickly, respond to customer needs, and balance flexibility with stability in product development.
This course provides the missing link between Extreme Programming, and other developer-level agile practices, and the rigorous project management that is required to ensure project success. By using practical exercises and case studies, students will master agile project management tools and practices including the User Story, Iteration and Release Planning, Product Vision Box, Project Data Sheet, Unit and Acceptance Testing, and Value Stream Mapping.
Finally, students will learn how to put customers at the center of their projects, where they belong.
This course is designed for technical leads, project and product managers, and software development managers.
