Understand how Agile practices let you deliver working products quickly, respond to customer needs, and balance flexibility with stability.

Two days, 12 students and the knowledge to take your programming skills to the next level.

The world of product development is becoming more dynamic and uncertain, and those traditional, rigid linear development methodologies aren't working for you anymore. This course teaches managers and software developers how to deliver the features their customers really want, on time. Using Agile practices allows organizations to deliver working products quickly, respond to customer needs, and balance flexibility with stability in product development. This course provides the missing link between Extreme Programming and other developer-level Agile practices, and the rigorous project management that is required to ensure project success. By using practical exercises and case studies, students will master Agile project management tools and practices including the User Story, Iteration and Release Planning, Product Vision Box, Project Data Sheet, Unit and Acceptance Testing, and Value Stream Mapping. Finally, students will learn how to put customers at the center of their projects, where they belong.

Obtiva has an amazing grasp on test-driven development and JUnit and has probably the most extensive Java knowledge of any company I know. I feel that the information and practices that were given the course will be invaluable.
